Here's another idea:
- Dio album Lock Up The Wolves is released. Sales are dismal.
- Deep Purple's only album with Joe Lynn Turner, Slaves & Masters is released to dismal response. The subsequent tour ends in failure,
- After amost a decade, Dio rejoins Black Sabbath, creating the heaviest Sabbath album to date, Dehumanizer .
- Despite initial success, old tensions flare up, the final straw being when Sabbath is slated to open for Ozzy, resulting in Dio's departure.
- Following Gillan's return once again, The Battle Rages On is released. Failing to recapture the success of Perfect Strangers and with Blackmore creating problems for him, Gillan again leaves, this time mid tour. Faced with impending tour dates and in danger of losing money if forced to cancel, Blackmore places a phonecall to Wendy Dio....
