AHC: French Sardinia and Italian Corsica

Well, Corsica was Genoese for a long time, so you just need them to keep it or sell it to an Italian power rather than France.

For Sardinia, perhaps France captures it during one of the 18th Century Wars?

Don't even need to sell it. Let Corsica continue its path, possibly becoming a British protectorate. If Italian nationalism ever comes along, there you go more or less.

Wouldn't they have to fight Aragon/Spain for Sardinia depending on the time period which could be more trouble than it's worth?

Well, there was the war over Naples. Perhaps some sort of partition which sees Spain keeping Sicily most of Naples, but in return France gets Sardinia as a naval base in compensation?
