With a POD no earlier then the declaration of the German Empire in 1871. and no later then the Morocco Crisis in 1905, I challenge you to somehow form a unholy alliance between the French and the Kaiserreich.
Well, for starters, they'll need a common enemy. That's just about the only way to get the two on the same side.
Britain or Russia maybe?
Those seem like the most plausible, although I fail to see what quarrel France would have with Russia (maybe the Poland issue, but that's also a problem with Germany).
Maybe a worse Morocco Crisis then OTL causes France to become drifted further away from Britain (to my knowledge Britain and France only started to thaw there relationship after this) and then due to quarrells in Africa, Germany and France get a common enemy in Britain?
or is there a more reasonable scenario?

Early Russian Revolution that results in a regicidal regime similar to the French reign of terror sending shockwaves throughout all of Europe.
Not going to happen until Germany give back Alsace Lorraine to France. Any politician willing to ally with the boche without getting back those will be destroyed and his party with him. And the German Empire is to fond of creating colonies in Europe to do that.
A French-German alliance might crop up from the "an enemy of my enemy is my friend" mindset. They might put aside their differences over Alsace-Lorraine to fight their common enemy, whomever that might be.
Precisely, you need to change slightly the outcome of the 1871 war. Still a French defeat, and still some hatred between the two countries at the beginning. But France doesn't lose Alsace-Lorraine.
Then, the colonial rivalries, the German industrial concurrence to Britain, and the naval race between Germany and Britain (and, possibly France as well), could bring together France and Germany.
