AHC: Franco-Prussian Alliance

Maybe if Bismarck never comes to power, and Prussia stays smaller, while Britain and Austria (and maybe Russia) remain Francophobic, France and Prussia could be more friendly.
(I'm not that good at early 19th century history, though)

Well they were fairly close under the Bourbon Restoration, started drifting under the July Monarchy (though to be fair France's foreign policy was a big failure during that era) and was finally broken with the Second Republic and Empire. So, using my TL as an example, I plan on having France and Prussia stay close in the early years of the 1830s. Truthfully the trustworthiness of France was very questionable under Napoleon III and the second empire. Remember this is nephew of the man who essentially conquered Prussia. Not to mention the Second Empire's very aggressive foreign policy and the Empress's apparent Prussophilia led to the relationship deteriorating rapidly. If France stays out of Polish affairs, remember Napoleon supported a revived Polish Nation part of which was part of Prussia, and supports Prussia against Austria then you could possibly see an alliance between the two.
