AHC: France, and not Castille, inherits Aragon

This might arouse some interest. Could potentially turn France into a Trans-Pyrenees powerhouse. Might guarantee their domination over Italy.

While Castile might have become the primary crown, it was actually Aragon that inherited Castile, not the other way around.

Unlikely : France always was a rival of Aragon, and a matrimonial alliance doesn't make a great deal of sense. It could happen of course, with the right PoD, but it becomes more unlikely as the french control of southern part of OTL Western Francia becomes more important.

By the XIIIth century, it's really hard to obtain.

Could you have France take control of the region during its 17th century rebellion?

That's possible, but not without french monarchy understanding that it needs to compromise with Catalans and eventually, the gain of Catalonia at the loss of (even locally) royal authority could seems to unbalanced.
