AHC: Fascism and Communism switch fates

Where can I read more about this? I remember watching a Putin speech where he mentioned Denikin, and so I'm interested
Putin was referencing a quote by Denikin. It was about how the Ukraine crisis is only relevant to Russia and Ukraine themselves.

The good sources are books. Actually, Denikin himself wrote multiple books on the Civil War.

The wikipedia page on Denikin contains the most online information, and the Russian language version is better.

This website contains some journal entries by him.

The Raving Lunatics:

Grigory Semyonov, ultraconservative Mongolian nationalist
Baron von Sternberg, also an ultraconservative Mongolian nationalist, as well as an Austrian (!)

What do you mean "Mongolian nationalists?" They sure don't sound like Mongolians to me. Unless you mean they want to have a Mongol-like empire, which they certainly might. Just want to clear up a bit of confusion for me.

They weren't native Mongolians, but they developed an obsession with Mongolia. Sternberg adored the nomadic values, Mongol-Tibetan Buddhism and monarchist tradition. Sternberg was a hyper-monarchist that wanted a large collection of autocratic states which he intended to salvage with the Mongol hordes.
So, what about having Imperial Japan lead the Fascist bloc?
That would be a tad awkward. Aside from most nations that had fascist interest being white nations, Japan to be a major power has absurd difficulties to get through. Even a weakened Siberian soviet remnant (itself maybe ASB) had the potential to steamroll Japan, and Japans dream of holding China just wasn't going to happen.

Semyonov was a Russified Buryat-Mongol Cossack born in Transbaikal. So he was actually ethnically Mongol but not Mongolian.

Sternberg had Mongolian citizenship.
