AHC: European Fascist-Wank

A simple challenge, really. With a POD in 1900, ensure that Europe has the most fascist nations possible by 1950. I'm relatively open-ended on what defines "Fascist", so Franco-style traditionalist, classical, Italian fascism, and Nazism are all accepted, as well as anything new you can come up with.

Um, even worse WWI followed by Spanish influenza completely breaking down how society feels about the status quo.....boom. There you go.

Figure out a way to nerf far-left revolutionary ideologies in Europe. The working class will turn to far-right fascist "revolutionaries" instead for their liberation.

I think that would hurt Fascism's popularity. The Nazis used the Soviet boogeyman to ride into power. If the Bolshevik's are crushed, then anti-communists and conservatives aren't going to be desperate enough to back Fascists.

How about a more successful communist movement? The ever-popular "Spartacist revolution in 1919" scenario could easily lead to a fascist France or Poland.

Here's a bit of a far out one: Have the colonies goes socialist. They won't necessarily succeed in freeing themselves, but they may stroke the fears of a world Communist takeover. Especially if backed by another bigger Socialist Government, like the USSR or a Socialist Germany.

List of Fascist states, including totalitarian dictatorships, with their leaders in

1950 -Dead By Dawn

German State: Staatsoberhaupt Kurt Von Schleicher
Kingdom of Italy: Il Duce Benito Mussolini
Kingdom of Romania: Prime Minister C.Z. Codreanu
Kingdom of Spain: Damaso Berenguer
Kingdom of Hungary: Regent Miklos Horthy
Kingdom of Yugoslavia: Draza Mihailovic
Federal State of Austria: Engelbert Dolfuss

Republic of Greece: Theodoros Pangalos
Tsardom of Bulgaria: Boris the Third
Second Polish Republic: Edward Rydz-Smigly

Also, don't know if you accept lists of Fascist nations after 1950 but, I have this one from my timeline in 1990

Aligned under the Rome Pact of Common Defense
Kingdom of Italy: Fascists
Bohemian Federation: Fascists
Empire of Austria: Heimwehr mixed with a flair of MVSN
Republic of Croatia: Ustasa
Kingdom of Montenegro: Kingdom under Military duress.
Kingdom of Spain: Similar to Montenegro, but with some Falangism thrown in.
Tsardom of Bulgaria: Run of the mill dictatorship under a Tsar with military support.

Wild cards: Not allied to the Rome Pact
Social Republic of Lusitania: Strasserist's with Himmlerist and Socialist support.
Kingdom of Serbia: Completely gutted, Serbia lacks recognition from most nations, and is a de facto totalitarian state.
Republic of Hungary: Massive Pariah. Regent changed to President.
Peoples Union of Romania and Dacia: Makes Hungary look like the popular kid in school. Iancu Serban is in charge. Think Caligula Incarnate.

In that case I suppose you could add:
Republic of Eire: Having "reunited" Ireland, under a Falangist-like Catholic Socialist dictatorship under Gerry Adams.
United German Republic: Under a National Technocratic regime led by Chancellor Ernst Nolte
Holy Republic of Judea: A Hebrew nationalist regime under Meir Kahane, advocates ideas of "Grossjudaea" and "Lebansraum" for the Jewish people

You haven't read my timeline Dead By Dawn I suspect. Ireland is split between the Republic and the Kingdom of Northern Ireland. Post WW2 the Germans become the German Confederation (founded around 1980). And there is no Judea. No Israel at all. Palestine's communist though.
