AHC: England and Brittany, is a close post-war relationship possible? (HYW)

Hi, just wondering if anyone could come up with a way by which England and Brittany could have been left as close allies after the HYW ended. Using any PoD between 1337 and 1453 can anyone fulfill the following goals:

1) Brittany must remain independent of France for significantly long than OTL. Bonus points if it sticks.
2) Brittany and England must maintain a close relationship with one another. Bonus points if Brittany eventually joins Great Britain.
3) Bonus points are not redeemable and are worth only a small boost to self-esteem.

I look forward to reading the suggestions offered by everyone and would like to thank you in advance.

Brittany doesnt go back to the French fold in the end parts of the HYW. Unlikely the war would end with such a big English ally in such an important region, but if, lets say, Henry VI is not utterly retarded, he may get some victories that allow him to keep an independent Brittany in the English fold by abdicating his remaining territories. Dunno

It's a later POD, but: Richard of Gloucester (a.k.a. OTL's Richard III) falls down the stairs and dies in 1480. As such, he never usurps the throne, and his nephew manages to keep his throne as Edward V of England. Without the OTL fallout from the usurpation, Henry Tudor never manages to gather enough support to stage his own invasion, so Edward V has a long reign. He marries Anne of Brittany to secure the Anglo-Breton alliance (which was an on-and-off thing OTL as long as Brittany remained independent), and their kids will inherit both titles. The French aren't happy, but with HRE support and a much more energetic English military response than OTL, the English can probably keep Brittany, though they may have to make some border adjustments.

Both of these answers are very interesting, the challenge does seem quite difficult to fulfill. That's why I asked. Both of these are quite diverse answers and I am very grateful for these answers.
