Divide along Yangtze river would be the most logical. Jiangsu, Henan, Shaanxi, and Gansu to the north. Hubei, Zhejiang, Sichuan go south.

Division on the Yangtze river, makes geographical sense, and China has being divided repeatedly on that line.
It's also the -only- line China has ever being stably divided on.
But what about the provinces that occupied both sides of the river (like Anhui and Hubei)? Would that mean they'll be divided?

Probably, it's not like provinces mean anything other than administrative division in China anyway.
