AHC: Different National Anthem in Canada

Barrett's privateers is a good old song, however it was written too late to gain inclusion. Also, it is not a good foreign relations move to have your national anthem be about how you want to go out and attack American ships, at least the British are not explicitly references in the Star-Spangled Banner. Canada is lucky not to have been stuck with God Save the Queen or the Maple Leaf Forever. Maple Leaf Forever is especially bad because it not only talks about beating the Americans in the War of 1812, but also Montcalm at Quebec.

If you really want to go over the top on an alternate Canadian National Anthem, they should go for The War of 1812: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7jlFZhprU4

My favorite lyrics are:
And the White House burned, burned, burned,
And we’re the one’s that did it!
It burned, burned, burned,
While the president ran and cried.
It burned, burned, burned,
And things were very historical.
And the Americans ran and cried like a bunch of little babies
In the War of 1812!
