With a POD no earlier than 1849, the defeat of the Hungarian revolution - how would it be possible in a reasonable timeframe (at most 1 century) to create a republic (socialist or capitalist) that encompasses basically all of the territory of the Austrian Empire/Austria-Hungary in this era, or at least the key parts (Austria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Croatia, the Austrian Littoral and Dalmatia)? Bonus points if the "Danubian ideal" (i.e. the equality of all the peoples of the Austrian Empire) is not established within the framework of the monarchy before the republic is established. All the nationalities must be at least de jure equal, and preferably not trying to urgently leave.
