From what Ive read, it seems that Bohemians are a different sort of people than that of the Slavic Czechs

Then said, whats the best and earliest possible way to change the name of Czechs from the foreign word of Bohemian to the more native Czechia?

Just a thought, I dont think it would make a huge difference in history would it?

Actually they aren't, sure the Upper Class in Bohemia (when it was a part of the HRE) was influenced by the German upper class in the HRE. Then again the upper classes in the Low Countries were culturally influenced by France. Not to mention the well known example of Norman and Angevin England.

Besides countries not being referred to their native name in a foreign language is also quite common. For instance the German name for Germany is Deutschland or Hungary, which in Hungarian is Magyarország etc.

Bohemian is historical english ethnonym for czech, czech language was called Bohemian too. Bohemian is also anybody, who live in "bohemia" (Čechy) thats one of the three major regions of Czech Reoublic, or a historical inhabitant of Bohemian Kingdom

Bohemia is foreign name, in Czech, it was always a "České království" in case of Bohemian kingdom, or "Čechy" in case of Bohemia as one of three traditional czech regions (the others are Moravia and Silezia)

There are both Germans and Slavs in Bohemia, there are four peoples in Bohemia - Poles(Silesians), Lusatians, Czechs and Germans...

As Im sure some have already noted, Bohemia is a name for a region. Up until recently, Bohemia was home not only to Czechs, but also Germans and Poles. Bohemia suggests a ethnic neutral state, whereas Czechia implies that all within these borers are Czech.

Allow King Wencealus to die a natural death rather than being assassinated, this will delay the Christianization of the province. Also create personal unions with their eastern neighbours.

Bohemia is Germanic in origin, it translate into Boii Home, a suspected Celtic people (through seeing as Bavarian translate into Boii Warrior and they original lived in Bavaria the celticness of the people are questionable). As such it's not a entire neutral name, it's just a Germanic name for the region. The Czechs have always named it after themselves.
