With a PoD no earlier than 170 A.D, either mitigate, significantly delay, or entirely avoid the Crisis of the 3rd Century which crippled the Roman Empire.
If it is mitigated, then it may be likely the crisis ITTL would turn out to be another civil war of succession not unlike the Year of the Four Emperors.
Either way, is it possible for Rome to emerge post-270's A.D without having suffered such a devastating period, and would this contribute to its continued survival, maybe into the 500's? (Western Rome ofc, Byzantium might still survive as long as OTL)
