AHC: Conceptualize a Video or Board Game Based on the US War in Afghanistan

There are plenty of board and video games of conflicts like Operation Desert Storm, World War II, etc. Make an alternate history game of some kind for the 2001 US war in Afghanistan.

I'll go first with some tropes. An FPS that tells the story of a young ground infantry soldier from New York who witnesses the destruction of the World Trade Center on 9/11. He tries to help survivors, but fails in the attempt. After this he enlists in the military and enters into active duty in the invasion of Afghanistan. A fictional President who is not George Bush is overseeing the war and has a different strategy of invasion. US ground forces block off the border with Pakistan from Tora Bora with their own troops and not others. Through various missions, American ground forces eventually trap Bin Laden himself and his lieutenants in a complex cave system. The final boss battle occurs in a gunfight with Bin Laden himself. Osama is eliminated and the final cut scenes have Americans celebrating in the seats for vindication of the death of Bin Laden. It looks somewhat like V-E Day, but smaller in scope.

A board game would be easy. Take the game of Stratego with the background of the board similar to Afghanistan. Plus change the "Flag" icon for one side to be Bin Laden.
