There's this communist Hungarian state from 1919 (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_Soviet_Republic), I'd like to know if there's any reasonable way for it to survive up to at least WWII.
IMO Bela Kun is still going to be purged in the 1930's and replaced by someone Stalin regards as a more dependable puppet like Rakosi. Red Hungary will be too small, too dependent on Soviet military and security forces, etc for a successful "Titoism." (A closer analogy might be Outer Mongolia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalinist_repressions_in_Mongolia)
Living standarts today would be much higher, with an earlier industrialisation and no 3 more decades of agrarianism and monarchy.
Stalin didn't fall from the Moon. If our Stalin wasn't created by the young party nomenklatura, they would have created someone else.Assuming of course that Stalin ends up in power still. He could be killed in the civil war, slip on an icy step and crack his head open, choke on some food, or meet any manner of untimely ends.
