I've got a challenge for you and it's ganna help for my AH book "Au bord de l'Abime".
In my story japaneses pacifist faction goes stronger after the defeat at Midway and his able to convince Showa Tenno to overthrow Tojo governement and start peace talk with the Allies.
This coup occurs in parrapelle with a big aeronaval battle in the Mariannas Island which is undecisive with heavy losses for both sides (I don't give too much details to avoid spoil).
So in January 5 1944, a new governement is constitued and a proposal to engage real peace proposal is sent to the allies via embassies of neutral countries.
A counter coup like "Kyujo incident" occurs but failed.
Here's my current "pacification" governement:
Please give some info if you use people who are quite "unknown".
If you have idea to devellop japanese economy earlier than OTL, you're welcome.

You're challenge is to make this governement slowly evolve to something quite similar to what we know in OTL post War.
