AHC: Chinese Civil War in the latter half of the 19th century

How is this reasonably achieved?

Additionally, how much greater would the waves of emigration to the Americas be?

Could have sworn the Taiping Rebellion was in the 1840s, rather than the 1850s... But you are right.

Well, any possibility of causing a second one?
There's the Nien Rebellion that lasted from 1851 to 1868. And the Miao Rebellion of 1854 to 1873. And the Panthay Rebellion of 1856 to 1873. And the Dungan Revolts of the 1860's, 70's, and 90's.

Thank you very much, I didn't know of those, actually.

Is there any possibility of all of these bringing down the Empire and usher in an early era of warlordism?

Well, arguably, the Warlords of the early 1900s were this.

But look, stop screwing over China already, history hurt it enough already.

Jeez mate, the fella had a idea. No need to snap on him.

While the Taiping, Nian, Dungan, etc wars aren't exactly everyday topics, they're still fairly common knowledge. (If you even bother to type in Chinese Civil War on Wikipedia, there's a redirect to the 1850-1864 Taiping Rebellion.) It's as ridiculous as asking "AHC: American Civil War in the latter half of the 19th century."
