AHC Central Power victory results in Zanzibarian restoration

So we all know of the Anglo-Zanzibar War, the shortest war, at 38 minutes, but the little island of Zanzibar deserves a little mention in a Central Power victory.

So, I was thinking, Sultan Khalid Bin Barghash, the Sultan of Zanzibar, who fought the British, after a Central Power victory, would ask if he could be sent back to Zanzibar, become Sultan again, and be an ally of the German Empire. After the war, he did get into refugee with the Germans in Tanzania, but could a Zanzibar restoration happen in a CP victory?

If ever there was an insignificant bone for Britain to toss in getting peace this might be it. But Britain needs to want out of the war and be willing to put Germany back to effectively status quo in the colonies, something Germany is very hard pressed to be able to demand. One might allow a more peaceful neutrality to linger longer over the colonies between Britain and Germany but what makes Britain less belligerent? Of all the German colonies East Africa is the most valuable to Britain so it is hard to see how it did not get into the war and given how hard it fell that makes the British reluctant to surrender it. Assuming we find the way, I could argue that Germany wants Zanzibar and putting the Sultan in place might be a way to curry favor with the Islamic Ottomans, showing that Germany respects its Muslim subjects. Strategically it certainly makes East Africa less vulnerable and simplifies the later issues of air and sea rights. I look forward to any thoughts on what motivates Britain to let loose any gains let alone things it possessed before the war.
