Northern Canada remains even more Native-dominated than it is OTL, while the Acadiens are not expelled and that part of Canada remains Francophone-dominated. In some twentieth-century crisis in which Quebec (+other TTL Francophone regions) gains independence, North Canada declares independence as a Native state.
The pagan kingdom of Shilluk is more successful against Funj, expanding north significantly, and even manages to ward off Muhammad Ali thanks to a genius king. Later, Shilluk becomes a protectorate of either France or England and becomes Christianized. After independence, a revolution topples the monarchy and renames the country Makuria despite not having any ties to the ancient kingdom. (See also: Gold Coast --> Ghana, Dahomey --> Benin).
Ethiopia keeps Eritrea in federation.
Turkey loses the Turkish War of Independence catastrophically, and Greece commits one of the worst genocides in world history, slaughtering several millions of Turks. Kurdistan also gains independence thanks to this.
The rump Turkey still manages to get Antioch from the French in some sort of Great Power shenanigans.
WW2 and the Holocaust still happen, only slightly differently, and Israel is still formed. Israel formally annexes Gaza and the West Bank and evict the area's Palestinians in a second Nakbah.
Yugoslavia annexes Albania in this slightly different WW2. It has better leaders after Tito dies and manages to hobble on into the 21st century.
In this different WW2, the Nazis reach the Caucasus. The Georgians resist, but the Armenians and Azeris collaborate. Following the Nazi defeat, Stalin punishes the collaborators by deporting them to Central Asia like he did with the Chechens and Crimean Tatars and annexing the Armenian and Azeri SSRs into Georgia. For some reason the Armenians and Azeris are forbidden from returning (just as the Crimean Tatars were IOTL) and the area just ends up being majority Georgian. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan has a large Azeri population.
In this alternate WW2, Iran declares for its supposedly Aryan brothers. It ends up being occupied by the USSR and the UK. The USSR-dominated portion becomes the Iranian People's Republic, while the UK-dominated portion re-renames itself Empire of Persia (because the English word "Iran" is increasingly associated with the communist IPR). Some kind of analogue to the Korean War results in the IPR taking over Khuzestan. Following Soviet collapse, the IPR has become increasingly autarkic, TTL's analogue to the DPRK. The Chairman of the Republic is Ali Khamenei.
Britain enforces stronger control over Oman. During British rule, some sort of succession struggle in the Sultanate splits the kingdom into Dhofar and Oman proper. Oman proper joins the United East Arabian States (UEAS), TTL's analogue to the UAE. Dhofar renames itself Oman.
The Raj annexes Afghanistan, Mauritius, and the Seychelles.
No partition of India. Very soon, civil war breaks out. Bengal declares independence quickly and is the only successful state in South Asia, with a tolerant Muslim-majority and Hindu-minority population. The UN manages to broker an artificial peace between the warring factions in the rest of India, resulting in four banana states.
Most of North India is ruled by a terrible Punjabi-nationalist dictator who proclaims himself Emperor of Punjab and rules with an iron fist. Every part of the area is terribly poor and the "country" is held together virtually only by the Emperor's omnipresent secret police. Terrorism and insurgencies are everywhere and the "country" is widely expected to completely collapse the moment the very old Emperor dies. There's a great deal of concern about this inevitable civil war because the country produces a large quantity of WMDs.
Maharashtra is really divided into two countries, Maharashtra and an Odisha-based secessionist government. Nobody recognizes the latter for geopolitical reasons because it would mean that the status quo brokered by the UN can be broken, which could hasten the civil war in the so-called Punjabi Empire (compare OTL Somaliland).
Dravidia is somewhat functional.
Assam is never not in civil war and has become a Bengali puppet state.
Qing China collapses much more badly, leading to a French Yunnan, a British Guangdong, and fully independent Tibet and Xinjiang. USSR-backed Communist Mongolia commits genocide on the Han Chinese population as it takes over Inner Mongolia. Later, Yunnan, Guangdong, and Taiwan gain independence and decide not to join China.
Japan acquires Taiwan, as IOTL, but ITTL the Taiwanese are granted independence.
The Chinese Communist Party, however, fails to take over China. They remain in Manchuria as a Soviet puppet state following the demise of Japan in WW2.
The Nationalist government retains control over what is left of China. Later, some political shenanigans result in the Nationalist government renaming the country People's Republic of China instead of Republic of China.
Japan does not annex Korea, just making it a protectorate, and the Korean monarchy still exists and rules over a united country. The OTL fate of Korea has been transferred to Iran, as we have seen.
A different Indonesian independence movement results in Hamengkubuwana IX becoming Sultan of a much more federal Indonesia with a capital at Yogyakarta. Later, British Malaya joins Hamengkubuwana's federation.
Western Australia is colonized by France and gets independence as a Francophone country.
In the midst of all this, there's some ancient linguistic POD whose sole impact is that intervocalic /n/ is elided in Turkmen, resulting in the country ending up being called Turkmeistan instead of Turkmenistan.

Some borders would need quiet early POD and you would be prosecuted about crimes against butterflies. Basically this is realistically impossible if then you are not ready commit terrible butterfly genocide.
Congo: Different Scramble. Virtually all African borders are adjustable with a nineteenth-century POD.
Suriname: Either England or the Netherlands takes both OTL Guyana and Suriname, and when the colony goes independent it abandons the colonial name and names itself after the river (like Benin with the Bight of Benin, or like Ghana).
Because the territory of OTL Makuria is in TTL Sudan, not TTL Makuria. So TTL Makuria logically can't have any relation to OTL Makuria without an even more unrealistic series of events than a newly independent African country renaming itself, which happened repeatedly IOTL.
