AHC: British intervention in 1794 Polish Uprisings

I dabbled into this once, Let us say, due to my stupidity, it became ASB.

How would it be possible for Great Britain to intervene on the side of the Polish Rebels in the uprisings of 1794? Part of the Great Game to beat up the Russians? Any other ideas?

William Pitt: The what?

More seriously, the great game as a matter of foreign policy is an anachronism. If it ever even applied to anything but the British notion that there was a great game.

What do you mean by the last point?

I mean that there's strong indications that the great game was an entirely one-sided affair and that the Russians neither felt nor cared about there being a great game in Central Asia; they were annoyed at British attempts at making Iran a puppet state, but otherwise that's about where it ended. In Central Asia, Britain was never a threat to Russia, the Afghans were kind enough to slaughter british armies whose commanders got the idea of playing Clive in Central Asia.
