Ok this is your challenge.

POD must be after Napoleon is stuck on Elba, or maybe a bit before as long as Elba exile isn't butterflied. If he leaves, he cannot beat the British and Austrians together (so, they need to either split, defeat him Waterloo style, or simply ignore him). Also by this point many of his good quality troops are dead, so not much of a restriction since he's unlikely to pull that off anyways with the full might of France behind him. He can stay at Elba if it makes it easier

Make Paris cover 10 times it's OTL area. Have it renamed Bonaparte (not Bonaparte city, that's just the thread name) in name of Napoleon Bonaparte during his life or within 35 years of his death.

Orleanist or Bonapartist factions must put their claimant as King of France and hold to today. Bonus points if you can get the House of Orleans to rename their capital after Bonaparte, who usurped their throne (it can be argued legally everything the National Assembly did was illegal so that means he's not really de jure first consul only a de facto one and therefore claiming himself Emperor is an usurpation).

Someone suggested to me having Napoleon be invited from Elba to do some city planning now and then (in OTL he wanted to make Paris magnificent once he was done conquering Europe). That I think violates his agreement not to leave Elba and he's too ambitious to be satisfied as a city planner. I don't think overthrowing him made him a broken man given the OTL Hundred Days.

Another idea floated was another revolution happens on the death of France's king and 30 years of terror makes France look upon Napoleon fondly. I don't see why a non-Louis XVI would meet the guillotine though.

A third idea was Napoleon III doing it. While it's true he was popular and 75% of France liked his domestic policy even on the eve of the Franco-Prussian War (this was when he was having Kidney stone problems), I think they would see it as heresy to rename Paris with OTL events. Maybe if Napoleon did something that made France even more grateful to him, his nephew would be able to do so legitimately.

So any ideas, or is Elda too late for Paris -> Bonaparte?
