AHC: Best deal possible for Ukraine

At any point after the formation of the USSR in 1922, you need to have Ukraine gain independence from the USSR with the best deal possible i.e. as much land as possible. What could they take?

Some kind of nationalist fantasia based on stimulants and probably a right wing central european power for a few years.

Moldova would be an easy one.

Some areas to its immediate north as seen below.

Apart from the areas they gained from Poland and Romania in OTL in 1939-40 (and again in 1945), and Carpatho-Ruthenia (ceded by Czechoslovakia in 1945) and the Crimea (a "gift" from the RSFSR in 1954 in OTL) the most plausible areas to claim would be the Kuban (from the RSFSR), parts of the old Kursk guberniya (e.g., Belgorod, again from the RSFSR) and the Polesian borderlands (which in OTL were taken from Poland and became the southern edge of the Belorussian SSR) . Also, the Ukrainians could claim the Lemko country from Poland. The only plausible POD for this I could see after 1922 would be the defeat of the USSR in wartime by a German regime which wanted to leave Russia--and Poland!--as weak as possible and (unlike Hitler) had no dreams of colonizing Ukraine and no contempt for Ukrainians as Slavic Untermenschen.
