AHC: Axis China and Japan in WW2

I do not think anyone has thought of this before but what if China is a member of the Axis in WW2. I have seen threads on Axis China and an Allied Japan but could it be possible for an Axis China with an Axis Japan in 1939?

No, Japan and China's interests were diametrically opposed. In this scenario, both would want to expand their hegemony across Asia.

That to happen would require 1. Japan giving up Manchuria 2. Japn looking to other areas to expand, perhaps the Pacific. While i see the latter possible, while being quite a big ripoff, I seriously doubt the possibility of Japan giving up Manchuria. The substainability of the Alliance would be doubtful as well.

Can't think of any offer the japanes could make that could pay off the humiliations done to China continiuosly over the last 2 decades (at least).

Can't think of any offer at all, that might be of interest for China.
