Did they even marriage together once?
Not the current ruling dynasty, just the next one.The current dynasty of Denmark is catalan/basque/gascon so it is possible.

And the Portuguese and Denmark were both interested in Exploration.
Eh what?!
The dynasty is called "Glücksborg" but has lineage back to the first recorded Kings of Denmark in 10th Century.
But BTW one of the medival Danish Kings (Valdemar Sejr) married a Portugese Queen in 1214 - Berengaria. She died in 1221 but three of their sons became Kings of Denmark.
... you do know that thats the same as trying to run an AHC of a Ming ruling Denmark right? ... neither have anything to do with each other except for the fact that in recent history the danish royality have married into someone from that area (and even then Béarn is quite a bit away from Portugal).
The Dynasty of Denmark will be Montpesat after Queen Margaret dies, because her husband is a Montpesat - an Occitan/Catalan.
It can also be like that.Do you have any quotation for that claim? While Crown Prince Frederik is a Count of Monpezat, I am fully unaware of any statement that the name of the dynasty will officially change.
Dynastic law is not like traditional family law regarding the wife taking the husband's surname (and that BTW never was a rule without exceptions).
Margarete is the Queen regnant, while her husband is not even king, but Prince Consort Henrik/Henri/Henry. I am dubious if a consort can give their name to the family they married into.
See the UK, where the dynasty will keep the name Windsor and not become Mountbatten (nor Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg); or the the Netherlands, where in the 20th century was decidedly not a succession of the Royal Houses of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Lippe-Biesterfeld and currently Amsberg. Or look at Luxembourg, where the ducal house is not called Bourbon-Parma.
