AHC: Any other European power other than Russia colonize, settle, and hold Siberia

Just like the title says. The challenge is, any other European colonizing country but Russia colonize, settle, hold, and remake Siberia (or some part thereof) as a colony which can either seek independence, become integral part of the mother country, or be a territory of the mother country, such that if you were to visit it today, you would feel as if you were in that mother country, and as safe as in the mother country. It could be England, the UK, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, whichever.

If we posit a collapse of Muscovy sometime in late medieval or early modern times, Sweden or Denmark should be able to lay claim to big chunks of the northwestern part. Poland/Lithuania might (or might not) grab pieces of central western Siberia. If you count the Ottomans as a European power (hery, their capital is in Europe), they'd probably end up in control of some bits, too, through the Safavids, native Islamic dynasties and China will share the eastern parts.

I'm going on the assumption that controlling northern Siberia will still be relatively cheap in terms of manpower and profitable due to the fur tribute, so the Swedes or Danes might well ultimately make it all the way to the Bering Sea.

A much weaker Russia would probably lead to Siberia being taken and colonized by at least one of the east Asian powers in the 1800s and onward. If Russia can't control it China, Korea, and Japan are all in a decent position to expand north expecially once you get into the 20th century.
