AHC: Anglo-Saxon Ireland

Your challenge is to allow for an Anglo-Saxon settlement and eventual domination of Ireland at some point in the Middle Ages. The Anglo-Saxons must remain in power in England while this happens. The later the PoD, the better. So how can it be done?

this is also going to happen in my timeline, the whole british islands will be germanic, however celticy still survives in Gaul, where gaulish is the dominant language. I thought a larger migration of germanic tribes to the british islands will replace the celts.

I guess it would turn out much the same way. The occupation of Ireland, starting with the Anglo-Normans in the 12th century, only occurred gradually, with the Norman magnates only occupying a few fiefdoms. Also, the "Anglo-Saxons would have called themselves "Aenglisc" (English) by the time of the 11th century.
