AHC and WI: FDR meets Wyatt Earp

This comment came up in my ongoing TL thread:

Since you seem to be into the Wild West, Wyatt Earp and FDR both knew Endicott Peabody, though he never introduced them IOTL.

ITTL, however... :D

I want to know if anyone can think of a way to develop this -- what would be the particulars of Endicott introducing FDR to Earp in an ATL? And what would or could the butterflies of this meeting be?

Unless an elderly Earp has a stroke, begins to hallucinate, and shoots FDR through the head I can't see anything happening.

It would just be one of those Did you know... moments in history like TR watching Lincoln's funeral procession pass though New York or Wilson remembering wounded Confederate troops being treated in his father's church.

Or:

The spring of 1940, France, outside a railcar. The German delegation is busy congratulating themselves over a proper humiliation of France. In the near distance, an elderly man, dressed as an American cowboy, hobbles forward.

"Heil Hitler!" he shouts, in a weak old man voice.
"Mein Furher, I have a message for you from Mr. Roosevelt."

And with that, he grabs the pistols from the SS guards and blazes away. :D:p
