AHC: Alternate Democratic nominees for 1864 election

Who else besides General McClellen could have been selected as a Democratic nominee for the 1864 presidental election during the ACW?

alright since no one else has posted yet I decided to do a little research of my own. According to the Wikipedia article on the United States presidential election, 1864 there were three individuals considered for the Democratic nomination McClellan, Thomas H. Seymour, and Horatio Seymour. As well there is a box that lists Charles O'Connor on the presidental ballot but I cannot find any more info besides that about him during the election.

So if McClellan was somehow unable to run in 1864 how might the votes for these other candidates have been changed? Also what other individuals might have run that year for the democrates who did not in OTL?

I doubt any other candidate other tha McClellen will fare as good or maybe even worse against Lincoln. Pretty much Lincoln has the election in the bag against whoever is the Democratic candidate. And BTW no way John Beckinridge will be nominated as he is with the CSA at the moment. If anything he can become a future President of the CSA;)

For this case I'd like to imagine that McClellan is some how kept from running for the democratic nomination either due to death or injury so that we can imagine who else would be able to take his place as the most backed nominee. Horatio Seymor seems like an interesting choice to me after I skimmed over his Wikipedia page but I still don't know that much about him. Could anyone tell me what acts he might take as a president if he was elected?
