AHC Ahmed Pasha restores Mamluk empire

During Suleiman's reign, his Pasha's competed for the choices in the empire. Ibriham Pasha was a favorite of Sulieman, and Ahmed Pasha felt betrayed by it. He asked to govern Egypt, was granted, and then killed all the Janissaries, and declared himself Sultan of Egypt.

So, is there a way to get Ahmed Pasha to win? Your challenge is to get him to win, and restore the Mamluk empire under Ahmed Pasha.

Suleiman, Ibrahim and all other strong Pasha's die around the same time with the weak trying to become grandvizier rather than stop Ahmed Pasha. Mustafa is not even 10 by then.

Honestly, he was doomed OTL. A strong Ottoman warmachine with nothing to challenge them.

Yeah, he was doomed, the Ottomans were a bit too powerful. But is there a way for the ottomans to lose the war without having Sulieman die? I mean, a Mamluk Restoration is pretty dangerous for the Ottoman empire, especially if it's supported by other western powers as a way to stop the Ottoman expansion.

Suleiman gets incapable or insane but doesn't die (yet). Honestly, any other scenario with Suleiman and his able pasha's alive is implausible. Ahmed Pasha does not have the army nor manpower nor technology to face the Ottoman Army.

Could they get backed by some kind of Holy League who would send troops and money to help defeat the Ottomans expansion? He has a lot of problems, but I kinda want a scenario where Suliemnas empire is still emperor and makes different decisions.

A Holy League for Egypt? There was no intensive Holy League for Hungary let alone there will be for a Muslim ruler in Egypt. Even Safavid help is much more likely and that ain't no help to save Ahmed.

Unless Suleiman is caught in a massive war in 1523 in Hungary AND Persia there is not even a small chance for Ahmed Pasha to succeed. In OTL he was betrayed by his supporters the moment they realised the Ottoman Army was on their way.

I saw in the show magnificent century that a girl named Sadkia was about to assassinate Suleiman. Is that true? And if it is, would Admed then be able to lead a successful revolt?

Series tend to dramatise stuff. So most likely not true. But Suleiman I 3 sons died in the same year in 1521, most likely of smallpox. If he caught it and died then there is a chance... But there is also a chance Ahmed becomes grandvizier by Mustafa's mothers order so there was no reason to revolt.

If you want a Mamluke State to survive then start during Bayezid II reign by modernizing the Army. Having Ahmed Pasha to succeed is hard during Suleiman's reign.

Well, I was just wondering if this was a way to get a Restoration of the Mamluk empire even after collapsing by the Ottomans. If Sulieman catches Smallpox, that could work, so while the empire is in turmoil, Ahmed can lead a successful revolt.

With the empire in succession crisis, it would be a good time for Ahmed to revolt would it? If Mustafa is too young to rule, a regent would have to be decided, but at that time he could have an ability to revolt.

I would just like it more if there is a way for Sulieman to still reign, but Ahmed wins without changing the leadership much.

There is no succesion crisis as Mehmed isn't born yet and Mustafa is the only son of Suleiman. Suleimans half brother Uveys is in Yemen and has even less right to the throne.

I understand you wan't Suleiman on the throne but in such case, it is either the Mamluks revolt when Suleiman dies or Suleiman lives and crushes the Mamluks. Besides, it isn't only Suleiman, there are enough Pasha's who'd like to get in Mustafa's mothers eyes who would be regent then. And to do so they would try to get the treasure of the Empire back. So getting rid of strong Pasha's is also a must.

I guess getting Sulieman killed is really the only way for the Mamluk revolution to succeed then. Then in this case, Sulieman contracts smallpox and then dies. Could the Pasha's fight amongst themselves while Ahmed leads a revolution?
