If the Moroccans become powerful, likely with Mamluk or Ottoman backing, to the point where they can match and defeat the Portuguese and Spanish regularly and maybe capture an ocean going carrack and reproduce them while at the same time looking for trade opportunities like the Portuguese, I think its possible they hit Brazil before anyone in Europe does. The impetus for trade expansion was there as the Mediterranean became harder and harder to trade in as it became property of Genoa, Aragon, and Venice, so I can see the Moroccans looking south and eventually west for trade.
