Is it plausible for a war like OTL's 7 Years War to begin, to include sweeping British victories on the sea, North America and India (and the defensive retention of Hanover), and to include full Austrian reconquest of Silesia, but without Prussia being utterly crushed, losing *other* territory to other powers or Frederick losing his life or Kingly title?
Why is this plausible or not?
If it is plausible, what would be the knock-on consequences for various subsequent European developments like the evolution of the German states [for example an alt- War of Bavarian Succession] diplomacy of the American rebellion, subsequent Austro-Ottoman wars, the potential partitions of Poland and the wars of a potential French Revolution?
What are the odds of Frederick or a successor Prussian monarch going for a rematch with Austria and getting Silesia (or more) back? Any prospects of major Bourbon-Habsburg territorial exchanges?
