AH WTC Disaster

Sept 12 2001 - From Armidale in New England, Australia
Headline - New England Daily News
Horror as 2 fully laden Airships plough into the sides of the 85 story
twin towers of the World Trade Centre in New York City

The resulting explosion as the Hydrogen in the Airships gas envelope ignited severly weakened the structures, causing them to collapse 2 hours afterwards. Another airship has hit the Hexagon - the US Army headquarters across the Potomac from Washington in Maryland, causing one of the sides to collapse. President Gore has blamed among others, Ex - Arabian terrorist Osama Bin Laden, The Viet Cong, many other Islamic Terrorist organisations and the Coalition for a Free Alaska.

If if these were much larger than the Hindenburg [12 million Cubic feet] lets say twice [ 24 million cubft] and for some reason they were still using Hydrogen.

The Fire [Not Explosion] would only last a couple minutes and be mostly on the outside of the Buildings [Airships not able to Ram, like OTL's 100 ton planes did]

Even if it did start a few secondary fires, without the tons of Jet fuel, the Secondaries would probably be easy to put out, by the - Tower"s Fire Suppression Equipment.

And here comes the conspiracy theorists.

There were apparently explosives in the cargo hold. In the manifest, it says 'Soft, Fuzzy Kittens', but this was the unpressurized-hold.

Who would do that to kittens? They'd be dead in the few short hours it took the blimp to get anywhere. It was a bomb, plain and simple, and the Federal Airship Administration has been too lax on security.
