AH Vignette: Make America Stand Again

Flipping phenomenal. Your writing is always incredible and creative. Awesome and as a fan of this election and the 1940s, it was an utter joy to read and spot the analogues.

One minor gripe, you called Burton K. Wheeler the Idaho Senator when he's actually the Montana Senator but that should be an easy fix.

Byrd was an interesting choice for Hull's running mate. Any reason besides him being Virginia Senator? I feel like he's too different from Hull on economics and segregation to make a good Kaine who was practically Clinton's clone. It's not a big deal. I'm just curious since every other parallel is perfect.

"Mr. President, none of these microphones are working."

"What in the devil happened to our electricity?"

"I destroyed every fuse in the White House last night. Wendell won't mind, he says electricity is something we shouldn't bother with."

"Oh, Henry..."

Ah. Sorry about that - I'd originally put William Borah as the Sanders analogy and must have left the wrong mountain state in! I'll ask Meadow to change it.
