AH Timeline through Twitter Timeline

Posting here, but applicable for future history as well.

We've seen timelines in prose, news snippets, interviews etc. Looking at my Twitter timeline and seeing all these tweets about Libya Syria etc got me thinking, why not present a timeline through 140 character tweets?

Twitter began in July 2006, but the POD can be anytime; including one about twitter itself, with a new name. You could have "twitter finally allowd in East Germany! #Stasi #Verboten". You could have official statements from major players, as well as eyewitness acounts. You could have dramatic irony ("a black prez? lolz!"). You could include a list of "trending" stuff for fun side info ("bieber comes out"). Since Obama campaign & teaparty have (had) huge internet presence some significant tweets can be the news itself.

I think this has potential. What do you guys think?

Well, for those of you who are not familiar to the whole thing, here's an exerpt from my timeline. I think it's a suitable medium for an ATL because it gives you a global perspective, narrative and opinion, while being energetic and eclectic (instead of YEAR: country A did this and this, country B did this and this).
