Or you could, y'know, just check the reference to make sure it's kosher. Disbelieving everything on wiki as a reflex reaction is as silly as believing everything on wiki by default.

Searched around a bit, and apparently as of March 2011 it's still going ahead. With Ridley Scott adapting it and the guy who did Spooks directing it may be good.

Hell yes. Those are pieces of fiction that really deserve to be published. Not a TL that ignores 50 years of butterflies and then consists mostly of remarks about a seaman who sunburns easily.

Yes, it does sound good. But like with the bastard adaptation of Fatherland, I'll reserve final judgement until I;ve seen it

In the Presence of Mine Enemies could be epic, if done right.

I highly doubt that any of these would be done well.

I found the book to be pretty depressing so I wouldn't watch it if it was adapted into a movie.

Off the top of my head there's Sliders, as soft as that is, and the odd episode of Doctor Who, but remember that AH is a niche subject as it is.

I for one would love to see Harry Harrison's "Rebel in Time" novel made into a movie. I think it would be a seriously kickass movie if it is done right and can remain faithful to the book.
