It downloaded and plays OK for me, but it took a very long time; I think that filesharing site is one of those ones that deliberately sabotages it to force you to buy the full subscription version.

Anyway, much thanks to Charl for editing it, in particular my dodgy microphone's distortion seems to have been mostly cleaned out...

It appears that their free service has a 200mb limit, and you don't have to sign up to host. I didn't see anything about specifically banning .mp3, either.

Also, tell me about your radio experience, please. This is actually something in which I am very interested. I think my dream job would be a narrator for historical documentaries :D

As for my radio experience it's nothing major. I've been on radio four times, I think. Most of them have been part of (unrelated) school projects (I was interviewed for a political program for one, team scripted and acted two others out for the university radio channel). The fourth time a speech I held in front of the municipal council was recorded and played in a radio news segment as a quotation of sorts, so that doesn't really count as such. Actually technically all my speeches for the municipal council has been on radio since it's broadcast live on the local radio station each time it happens, so...

I'm listening to the podcast now. For a first podcast, this is very nice. My only real issue is the sound quality at certain segments, which is understandable. You mentioned you were having some microphone problems.


I'll let you know if I notice anything else, but so far so good.

I've dowloaded it, and will begin listening shortly.
To avoid the great amount of effort that would be required to skip it while my iPod is on shuffle however, is there any way for me to put it on my iPod as a podcast rather than music?

Same here, I thought he was Catalonian for an awfully long time before realising he's Occitanian and I was thinking of his username.

I would like to request that discussion about the podcast in general be confined to the general thread, and that this thread be only about the specific episode it's name for.

Just a suggestion.
