Since I consider Hawaii as part of the New World...
Flag of the Hawaiian natives erupting in revolution against their Chinese Imperial overlords, under the guidance of Paramount Chief Kamehameha. Circa, 1805. The flag represents the severance of Imperial Chinese rule (hence the severed 5-claw legs), but the retaining of Chinese culture (hence the dragon and gold background), intermixed with native Hawaiian culture and traditions (hence the pineapple and the canton displaying the colors of the island).

Chinese traders established a string of colonies in the Pacific by island-hopping across Polynesia Melanesia. Hawaii became one of those colonies in 1667, under the expansionist Qing Dynasty. However, two centuries of Chinese taxes and autocracy became too much for the native islanders to bear, and the Hawaiians rebelled in 1804, at the same time as French colonies in the Caribbean. They gained independence in 1809, after British intervention. The United Kingdom of Hawaii was founded, and persists to this day.

It should be no surprise as to what nation I have chosen to be the colonizers. :D

The timeline (in no way related to the Tiger Empire one) is that the (different than OTL) king of Goryeo dynasty Korea was obsessed with his nation’s navy and sought to strengthen and advance it. With help from Ming China (around the mid 1300s) for technology, he builds a vast fleet of ships. As years pass, the Koreans have managed to take Tsushima and Iki islands from the Wokou pirates, and the Ryukyu kingdoms.

In the late 1600s a Korean naval ship gets swept up by first the Kurushio then the North Pacific currents and landed on Haida Gwaii (AKA Queen Charlotte Islands). After a brief conflict with the Haida slave traders, the Koreans take control of the island. A few years later, a few of the men that are not established in the islands attempt to go back to Korea; they follow the southern Haida sea route south; eventually finding the North Equatorial Current and back to the Ryukyus. When another envoy of Korean ships found the island, the Korean-Haida population accepts the lordship of the Phoenix Throne.

The symbol is very basic as the Siberian Tiger is a symbol of Korea, at least in this and my TL. The lines represent Heaven, Earth, Sun, and Mood respectively. On the right side, is of the Haida being the Eagle and the Raven; the colour brown stands for the wood that is important in Haida life (canoes, totem poles, houses, etc.).

From a timeline where instead of taking over the Chinese Empire, the Manchus formed a separate empire in the North, going all the way up into OTL's Russian Far East.

The Flag of Manchurian 'Eastland' (centered on OTL's Pacific Northwest)

The Manchu colony of Eastland was founded in the late 1600s and quickly adopted as its symbol the Eastland Tiger (OTL Cougar), a clear homage to the motherland's Manchu Tiger symbol. The land and sky motif with symbolic mountain range was adopted to symbolize the richness of this new land. The opium ball affectation for the Eastland Tiger was dropped in the late 19th century.

Chinese North America

Chinese North America, state in North America conquered by Chinese Imperial Army in late 18th century. It’s territory is more less *here* USA West Coast. Colors represent typical China Imperial flags, composition a’la British dominions flags’ with native American’s sing (similar to preset flag of those used in South States flags *here*. The chinese marks say nothing more that "North America" . Nothing special, just a flag :) ;) :D

Flag of Japanese North America. The central red sun symbolizes Japan, while the lines overlaying it are a stylized representation of the first Japanese character in the word for "America". Stylized yellow stripes against the black night sign symbolize the civilizing influence Japan gives to its territories. At the bottom, the gray and white stripes over the blue symbolize towering snow-capped mountains sitting over a tranquil ocean.
In this timeline, Russia exerted a more serious effort over the Oregon Country, gaining a large strip down to Vancouver Island (British), while America never purchased Louisiana. However, settlement attempts floundered. The Monroe Doctrine is never formulated, though Britain and the US have a quiet agreement to make sure the Latin American states stay independent and good client states. Japan is opened by the British a bit earlier than in OTL, and quickly develops. In the 1870s, a war breaks out between Japan and Russia, and Russia loses, evacuating its North American provinces.

Empire of Three Reeds (also known as Pictland in Europe)

The Empire of Three Reeds is located on the southern end of Hou’Hawaiki (OTL South America).

The ancestors of the empire started out as Polynesians that had been greatly influenced by the Srivijaya Empire of Indonesia. This great trading empire stretched its influence throughout the Indian and Pacific oceans. The effect on the various Polynesian cultures was great, especially in regard to naval technology. Greater ship building along with the Polynesians’ superb navigational abilities allowed them to discover Hou’Hawaiki in 1098. Many Polynesians, especially from Te-Ika-a-Mui (north island of NZ), Tahiti, and “Te Pito O Te Henua” (Easter Island) came to colonize the south coastal lands of Hou’Hawaiki.

In 1259 Mongke Khan lost his left leg due to cannon fire while attacking Fishing Town in central China. The lose of his leg caused a shift in power when Mongke chose his brother Kublai to continue the conquest of south Asia. Many Chinese and other peoples fled south. Where they had a great influence on cultures they had moved into.

In 1266 Kublai had reached the Indochina peninsula and destroyed the Tran Dynasty of Dai Viet. Two years later the Khmer Empire began to buckle under the pressure of fleeing refugees and the onslaught of the Mongols. Many more people fled to Indonesia once the Malay Peninsula came under the control of the Mongols.

The Srivijaya Empire was able to keep the Mongols from gaining any foothold on their territory, but continued pressure made many move south and east. Several even made it to southern Hou’Hawaiki, trading with the Polynesian settlers and native peoples. Tales of the open spaces and rich mountains of Hou’Hawaiki brought more merchants from Srivijaya and settlers as well. Slowly the Polynesians, Srivijaya settlers, and the Mapuche people melded to form the Kingdom of Three Reeds.

After numerous failed attempts at conquest by the Inca and several other northern states, Three Reeds extensive trading brought large territories under their sway.

When the Europeans came in 1555 (The English Expeditions) they found a thriving culture. From the blue tattoos on the faces of the people they thought they had found a far off colony of Picts, thus naming the land Pictland. While gaining several trading posts the English were never able to conquer Three Reeds, because of Three Reeds’ strong navy.

The modern flag is semi-triangular and is based off of the old sails of their Polynesian ancestors and the kites flown in combat by Three Reeds’ armies to denote the various divisions. The blue at the bottom of the flag represents the ocean. The sun and reeds at the apex is the imperial seal. The black and red glyph in the center is the Three Reeds version of the Taoist/Buddhist yin-yang symbol of Asia, brought over by Srivijaya and Chinese settlers. Over the centuries it has been greatly changed. Its similarities to two nautilus shells are the Polynesian influence. The Red color represents hard work, the sun, and blood. Black represents laziness, the moon, and ignorance.
