Thats rather complicated... I suggest you pick the best 10, and put them on a poll. The top 3 go to a poll, and the winner is announced as the 'Peoples Pick' of the flag.

WHEREAS the Imperial Republic of AH.com is lacking both a symbol and standard.

BE IT ENACTED that a public request shall be put forth to the citizens of AH.com to create an appropriate standard.

BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that a Committee from the Parliament shall select an appropriate number of finalists.

BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that a public referendum open to all citzen's of AH.com shall vote for the Imperial Republic standard of AH.com.

*Looks through the flag suggestions so far* there are only three flags that I consider to be actually good, and I still don't actually like them all that much. They're just well made instead of actually being good designs.

Well, if I recall, Krall's condition for being on the committee was that he be allowed to elucidate his theories of vexilology at length... and nobody seemed to mind at the time...

True. Anybody, in theory, can post a poll with finalists from this thread; it need not be under any governmental auspices. It's not like the flag would have been official for the site anyway.

I would like to announce that the soon to be formed Gentlemans Club shall indeed be taking over this committee, and plead that the noble fellows who have for now been working on a common flag for AH continue their work, and as I said before, here is my suggestion on how to do it:
Put the best 10 on a poll, the best 3 of which go to another poll.
Note: I have no authority on the matter,but as it is a spiffin' good gentlemanly idea thought up by me, I thought I would humbly suggest it.:D

The Honourable Gentlemen's Club would indeed be most willing to take over the administration of this committee, should the committee members permit it.

There's a bit of a problem there, old bean: there are only three flags which are of any real quality, and they're more well made than well designed. I couldn't honestly find myself walking into battle under any of the banners suggested so far.

I want a flag that I'm willing to die for (or would be willing to die for if I didn't plan to live forever).

Then why not go ahead and design one for the Gentleman's Club. Then we'll sit down and have a fun-filled and animated discussion about it over a cup of tea.:D
