Very nice! I like the idea of using the board colors, but it does make it blend into the post unfortunately... (I recommend people open it in a new tab or window)This flag uses the board's main colors and the butterfly symbol.

True. And you took that butterfly from Gilboa, didn't you?![]()

Good after-noon!
Here are four slight variants of my design. An explanation of the symbolism:
The colour-scheme is derived from both the flag of the United-Nations and this web-site. In the flag of the U.N., blue and white represent the whole world be-cause blue is the colour of the sky seen from every-place, and white represents peace. For this, the blue could also represent the 'sea of time' or the 'river of time' or what-ever it's called.
The bars represent alternate-history in general, where one time-line is branching into multiple. The one that continues going horizontal could, I guess, represent 'O.T.L.', but I wasn't really intending this. It could also signify the nature of the inter-net which this web-site is based, where the bars are like connections and perhaps the circle is like a single 'node' of the net-work. I wasn't intending this symbolism either so it's probably just barely there.
The disc stands for many things:
1. The world, be-cause our forums include people from all over the planet.
2. A clock, be-cause of its symbolism of time, which links with history.
3. A compass (sorta stretching it here!), be-cause of its symbolism of exploration, which was a major driving force of world history.
The butter-fly stands for the butterfly-effect. Its location, at the fork of the bars/time-lines, shows how it's the force that's diverging them. If you choose to think of the disc as being the world, you could also think of the butterfly-disc combination as meaning that the butterfly-effect is sort of dominating the world, in a way.
I can provide an S.V.G. version and/or a construction sheet if required.
here's one, with some ASB pride.

The circles represent how every action ripples through time.
There was an informal thread on this a few months ago. I created something that was basically an MSPaint-ified clone of Transparent Blue's designs. But there may have been some good designs in there. I can't find the thread, though.
There are some fantastic designs here, though. Ashera's is my favorite so far.
It was bumped yesterday and the day before. Like I said in the OP, I'm aware of it, but if they want to be considered, they need to be posted here. Might want to PM the various authors there.
