AH: Cleopatra's Fate

Easy peasy. It can be happened any number of ways:

-Caesar isn't assassinated
-Octavian dies sometime before beating Antony (or afterwards, like in After Actium)
-Caesar loses the civil war
-Octavian, fearful of her destroying her vast wealth, yields
-The liberatores win the civil war with the triumvirate
-Antony wins the civil war

saving Egypt as a client kingdom is also really easy, with or without Cleopatra (though not if Octavian lives). The Romans preferred client kingdoms, and Egypt was a wealthy, non threatening, loyal, client kingdom that seemed to be a mess. The Romans were happy to let the Ptolemies rule over it, for fear of letting any ROman or faction of Romans getting too much power and wealth from annexing it-Cleopatra just stepped too far.
