AH Challenge: WWI with these alliances

I'm not sure if this has been done before but, here we go.

Your challange, is to have WWI happen with these alliances:

Allies: British, Austria-Hungary, France.

Entente: Ottomans, Germany, Russia.

no PODs before 1898. Good luck and have fun.

I can't be arsed but here we go:

Mehmed VI takes over and avoids balkan war, Germany signs alliance with Russia to counter austria who is more obsessed with taking down the Ottomans and to have influence in the Balkans (Similar split that happend OTL with Russia and Germany). When Austria annexes bosnia the Turks say we're making a stance against european agression and declare war on Austria Hungary alongside the Balkan alliance, Germany wants to gain Bohemia and Russia Galicia. The Ottomans decide to take back egypt from de facto british control and bring in an Anglo-French alliance into the war (The french needing an ally after Russia got into bed with Germany)

I know what you will say: ASB but it's the best I can come up with in 1 minuet

OK, for Austria to go against Germany, you could have a second Prussian-Austrian war break out. A trigger could be that time when Wilhelm II's Dachshunds went to Austria and ate Franz Ferdinand's priceless golden pheasants (closest thing to a war causing event I could find). It would be much more humiliating for Austria and have Prussia annex parts of Austria. That might persuade the Austro-Hungarians to ally with the British and the French, who are also looking to regain lost territory and honor. To put Russia on the German side, you could have Russian terrorists kill every possible member of the Tsar's royal family except the Kaiser or his close relative. That would allow the Kaiser or (did he have a brother, cousin of suitable age?) to take the Russian throne. With that close family relation, the Tsar uses his autocracy in much the way Peter III did, and allies with Prussia.

Then, when the war breaks out, the Archduke is dead, Austria attacks Serbia, Russia attacks Austria, France attacks Russia, Germany attacks France and invades Belgium, which gets Britain involved, and the Ottomans just go against the Austrians for Balkans territory.

It would take something pretty spectacular to make Russia and the Turks join sides, they have been fighting each other more or less constantly for 2 centuaries.

Wow, that really happened?:D

Wikipedia says so. I find no reason to say it shouldn't have. It's not ASB. I'm putting it here.

If the almighty Wikipedia says it, it must be-eth so.

Imagine trying to gain popular support for THAT war. Here's a slogan possibility- "Damn the hounds of hell! Remember the pheasants!"

I can just imagine some Austrian officer using a phrase about dogs to rally his men and inspire them to charge a battery of Prussian artillery. :D
