AH CHALLENGE; the three empires

with a pod no earlier than 1492 make three empires rule 80% of the planet by the end of the 1900, with possibly a few vasal states or indirectly ruled dominions and inipendant or semiautonomus enclaves.

one of the three can be a federation of states, and nider have to be actual official empires, but all of their territory should be ruled by one political faction and this faction such as a ruling party or monarchy, and should have next to total controll of economy and politics, with minimal resistance, but all this is flexible
one or all can be apsolutist monarchies
or anithing in betveen

olny rules are no roman empire wank, and no uber south africa wank, and at least one must be a theocracy, preferably catholik, a muslim theocracy is a bit obvious, but will do

Britain tries to expand into South America, which gets America pissed so they do it first.

Tsarist Russia conquers China.

Together with the original British Empire, that should be about 80 % (they can grab French territory if it isn't).

The theocracy bit is MUCH harder to fix...

Call it 1750

  • Franco-Spanish Bourbonese Union locks up most of Cont West Europe and the Americas
  • Hannoverian British Empire including the Electorate of Hannover
  • Russian Empire under the Romanovs
By 1900 the Americas are firmly in the hands of Les Bourbon, with a small enclave of British on the mid-East Coast. The Hannoverians have consolidated their dominion over the isles and most Germannic States, as well as Scandanavia. Also include Southern Africa and Austalia/New Zealand. Russia, being denied access to the Baltics by the Hannoverians, spent more energy pushing southwards, to establish a wamr-water port and to extend hegemony over Constantinople (later Ykaterinaple). The collapse of the Ottomans in the mid-1800's gave them their opportunity in the Middle East, adding to their holdings of India and Central Asia. The Scramble for Africa followed closely on the heels of the Scramble for China of the 1870's, with the three main European powers divvying up the territories of East Asia and Middle Africa
