AH Challenge: The 13 colonies are named after constellations

I was thinking about a thread I saw here on AH.com about the 13 colonies being named after the constellations in the sky, but after much searching couldn't locate it, so I decided to start another.

I've been reading about the possibility that the Templar Knights(or their successor organization)reached America in the late 14th century. I've heard that the Templars had acquired from the Arabs a fascination for astronomy, so I was thinking what if the Templars founded settlements based on astronomical names such as Ophiuchus, Gemini, etc etc. That then passed these names onto the later english colonists

Any thoughts???

after a series of inter-colonial conflict that eventually leads to an uneasy peace and confederation, the colonists would develop robot slaves who would then rise up and commit genocide against their former masters.

They shall sail on the one surviving Man o' War first to England, only to discover that it has been depopulated since everyone left it because it's just that much fun. They shall then make their way to New Zealand to discover that it is also depopulated due to hyper-smallpox, and that the newly extinct population was also made up of rebellious robots.

Mutiny shall break out and subsequent suspense shall be unbearable.
