AH Challenge: Surviving Kipchak nation

Your challenge, should you accept it, is to have a surviving Kipchak nation (you can use the Russian term "Polovtsi" for this case, if you want) in either Europe or the Caucauses with a POD no later than 1871. Central Asia does not count.

why 1871? were there even any Kipchaks left by then?

but to have them survive you would need to butterfly away the Mongol invasions, which in itself would throw the world into something completely unrecognizable to ours.

Just a random number.

Elaborate on that, please.
well, the Kipchaks were crushed by the Mongols and destroyed (some fled to Hungary and were chased by the Mongols).... so to have the Kipchaks survive you would need to not have the Mongols invade. and having them not invade would cause huge butterflies everywhere.

Wasn't the Golden Horde actually called, Kipchak Horde?

It was, and the lionshare of its (nomadic) population consisted of Kipchaks.

The Kipchaks as a people were absorbed into the Golden Horde rather than being destroyed and replaced, like the Pechenegs and Khazars.

That said; the Mongols did destroy the last independant Kipchak states, and as a part of the Golden Horde, the Kipchaks gradually became Tatars within one or two centuries.
