AH Challenge: President Ritchie's cabinet

This thread on the possibility of FDR losing the New York gubernatorial election in 1928 got me thinking about alternatives for the Democratic nomination for President in 1932. Assuming that FDR is not nominated in 1930 for governor, and Ottinger somehow wins, the consequences for New York politics would be interesting. However, this thread by another member is intended to deal with that.

In 1932, therefore, I am assuming that Albert Ritchie, then governor of Maryland, gets the Democratic nomination over Al Smith, Jack Garner, and the other contenders. The consequences for U.S. politics without FDR are interesting, but a U.S. led by Ritchie, who died in 1936 in our timeline seems particularly interesting given his reformist position as governor and opposition to parts of the New Deal. So, what I want in this thread is a discussion of the individuals who would be present in a U.S. administration headed by Albert Ritchie starting in 1933.

A lot of reactionary/conservative Democrats and a few Republicans, most likely.

Lewis Douglas would make a good Secretary of the Treasury for Ritchie.

Paul V. McNutt or Jack Garner?

My thought was that the figure would need to be from the progressive wing of the party, and I don't McNutt has enugh prominence yet in 1932. Garner's out for being another relatively conservative Democrat.
