AH Challenge: Pan Am survives

In keeping with my aerospace theme, here's a challenge: keep Pan Am running past 1990, until today at least. Bonus points if you can keep them solvent during their entire lifetime, that is no repeatedly going into and out of Chapter 11. Bigger bonus points if they're consistently profitable and/or don't need government bailouts/support, unlike certain other airlines.

They are allowed to enter the US domestic market unlike OTL, which allows them to compete with many other American airlines (the never implimented Clause B of the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978).

A better paced and longer term purchasing strategy of Boeing aircraft, rather than many in a short period of time (a binge of 747s).

Pan Am never purchases National Airlines (conflicting corporate structures, fleets, routes and just about everything else one can imagine).

The Lockerbee bombing, Pakistani hikjacking didn't help the airlines image and a major loss of confidence took place. Maybe if those didn't happen...
