The challenge, make something like this happen:

Ottoman - Nazi alliance

Ottoman - Soviet alliance

Ottoman - Fascist Italian alliance

Ottoman - Imperial Japanese alliance

Ottoman - Chinese alliance

The first 3 of them would require CP victory in ww1, which would probably butterfly away fascism, making them impossible. And how can soviets be allied with a monarchy?!!? China and Japan are too far away from OE to be allied with, the only possible OE-japanese alliance is japan joins CP.

It ain't easy, but

I think there's more ways to skin this cat than just the CP victory one.

Actually, until right before WWI started, Ottoman-Japan relations was very friendly.

This shouldn't be that hard. All you need is for the Ottoman empire to stay neutral in WWI. This should be sufficient enough for the Ottoman empire to stay somewhat intact, and shouldn't cause enough butterflies to deny the rise of fascism in Italy, Japan, and Germany, and the Soviets in Russia.

So for scenario 1, 3, and 4 all you need is Germany to force the Ottomans to join the axis in the way that they almost did to Turkey in otl. Alternatively the Germans could simply invade and put up a friendly government without too much difficulty as well (a.k.a. atl Mediterranean strategy)

For scenario 2 and 5, all you need is for Germany to invade, Ottomans don't collapse as easily and has enough time to create a alliance of convenience with the SU and/or allies, so you have a Ottoman Empire allied to either the SU or the Chinese.

If you want a alliance with, say, just the Germany and Ottoman and no one else, then I'm at loss.

Well... CP alliance during WWI could be counted as one actually. Had they won the war their alliance could've last longer for sure, though for exactly how long I can't answer....

And I don't think Ottoman-Japan alliance would necessarily require Ottomans to join RoBerTo Axis at all. Maybe with the Ottomans staying out from WWI or Japan joins CP it can be achieved. It's often forgotten about how friendly the Japanese and the Ottomans were before WWI.

What was the focus of the friendly Ottoman-Japanese

relationship?

Exchanging notes on what the Russians were doing?

How did the Ottomans get along with late Imperial China? Did they even have a reason to talk?

How did the Japanese get along with Qajar Persia? Did they even have a reason to talk?

More about sentimental than anything else actually, but maybe it was right about the exchanging notes part. Anyway, basically it just won't to hard to happen, and for that you don't have to worry about China, Persia and whatnots. Here are the articles :
