AH Challenge: Korean-Prussian Dynastic Union

Are you kidding me? The Prussian royals and noble class looked down on even neighbouring European nobility as not good enough (Polish nobles for example). Why would they hold an Asian dynasty in higher esteem? It seems implausible to say the least.

Well, I mean, it seems nearly impossible- as far as I know, there is no tradition of royal intermarriages between the European monarchies and the Asian monarchies, and I don't know how you'd go about getting one post-1700 as well. And then a personal union? That seems like it'd be unacceptable to one of the two sides, or both. (Depending on whether the family resides in Seoul or Berlin, perhaps)

This is pretty ASB

1870's Prussia enters the East as a colonial power. Prussia somehow conquers Korea. Places large amounts of Troops on the ground and places a Prussian royal on the thrown. Extremely unliked but military keeps him in control. Eventually the Prussian King Marries his first son two the Korean/Prussian Kings only daughter. Prussia enters a Dynastic Union.
