AH Challenge - Kennedy Assassinates

Your challenge, should you wish to take it, is to arrange for the assassination of President Lee Harvey Oswald by John F Kennedy, with a PoD no earlier than Oswald's birth in 1939.

Extra points for having Kennedy shoot from the grassy knoll in Dallas. No ASBs and the date of assassination need not be November 1963 (so you can wait until Oswald is old enough to be elected President).

Turning Kennedy into an assassin isn't the hard part. The hard part is turning Oswald into a respectable figure, let alone the President. Oswald was, by the most reliable accounts, highly disturbed and on the road to insanity from the moment that he was born.

And this would disqualify him because...?

No seriously, if Oswald had psychopathic personality disorder, it is entirely possible that he could have hidden that, (psychopaths are good at hiding their madness) but he would probably need a different upbringing.

He would need the background to give him decent schooling and probably higher education. Maybe he is adopted?

JFK remains a fierce anti-communist. After the fall of Joe McCarthy JFK realizes he had to use extralegal methods to eliminate the scourge of communism and communists. He begins slowly taking months to plan each hit. He acquires the names of suspected and known communists and fellow travellers from the FBI as a congressman sitting the HUAC commitee. Gradually JFK expertise and confidence improves. When campaigning for president JFK is able to hunt in more than Boswash corridor.

The president JFK was still able to spend some time on his own personal crusade. The availablity of the Secret Service as lookouts, cleanup men and general accomplices was a great help. There were a couple close calls as a congress when he was nearly arrested by the police. There was the time when he was nearly arrested after pushing the secrectary of the Brooklyn Communist party under the A train. Then there was that hairy moment when after a tracking a Wisconsin Communist union leader to an isolated cabin had to kill the communist and his faimily. Afterwards he was stopped by police and was able explained the bloodstains with the excuse hunting.

Late November in 1963 JFK is taking the opportunity of a trip to Dallas to get a shot at traitorous marine by the name of Oswald. From his position on a grassy knoll opposite the traitor place of work JFK cannot see into the book depository. Stick to the original plan. Later that afternoon there is motorcade. In the convertible is JFK dopelganger. The Grassy knoll has been screened and secured by the Secret Service. The workers of the Texas Book Depository put their heads out including the quarry Oswald. Irony, JFK kills Oswald secounds after his dopelganger is headshotted.
