AH challenge: Bizarre Great War

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but since I figure it would need a POD at least in the 1700s, this seemed appropriate.

SO!

Between the years of 1920 and 1950, there should be a Great War wherein the main combatants are (at least in the Americas) the Empire of New Spain, and the North American Technate.

Bonus points for minor players like the Sicilian Empire (them particularly). Expanding the war to include Big Players in Eurasia is allowed. Be as creative as you like without being extraordinarily ASB.

Let's see what you can do.

Napoleon succeeds, except the Spanish monarchs flee to Mexico where they set up an empire like OTL Brazil. Napoleon is never defeated and dominates Europe. in the face of competition from a Napoleonic europe and a totilatarian (sp?) New Spain, the United States (which won the war of 1812) turns to technological advancement as the way to beet Nappy, and takes it to the extreme. the government is reordered into the Technate.

then, in 1921, on a visit to his puppet kingdom of Sicily (two sicilies), Napoleon IV is assassinated by a gunman. France issues an ultimatum to the Sicilian Empire, while the British and Russian empires proclaim their support for Sicily. the war begins, shortly joined by a Napoleon-aligned New Spain and a British-aligned Technate, the greatest war in history has begun.

I just pulled that out of nowhere, so forgive me if it's crud.
